Catering: The majority of groups staying with us choose to have their camp fully catered (which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning and afternoon teas & supper) by our fantastic kichen staff. Over the years the kitchen staff have built up an outstanding reputation for providing groups with mouth-watering meals and yummy treats. See more

About Us…
Forest Edge is situated on 105 acres of beautiful, undulating land, is ideal for group development and only minutes away from extraordinary 'Waroona Dam' and the very picturesque 'Drakesbrook Weir'.
The activity sites surround our large dormitory, so as to minimize time lost between meals and activity sessions.
The camp was created by Phil Hewton in 1983 to cater for school groups. Our staff aim to provide challenging activities which encourage participants to learn the principles of teamwork and achieve a higher level of self-esteem.
Now after 31 years of operation, there are many thousands of satisfied clients, who have departed with a feeling of great achievement, whilst having had a great deal of fun in the process. Last year there were over 80 schools, family, sporting, church and corporate groups who enjoyed the 'Forest Edge experience'.
Forest Edge was purchased by Graeme and Sonia Watson in 2006. Unfortunately it was destroyed in the 2016 Waroona bushfires , however as a result a brand new improved facility has been built. The Watson’s continually bring to Forest Edge exciting new ideas, enthusiasm and commitment to continue the professional and successful enterprise.

Over the years the kitchen staff have built up an outstanding reputation for providing groups with mouth-watering meals and yummy treats.

We run 4 activity times per day from 8.30 to 10 , 10.30 to 12 , 1.30 to 3 , 3.30 to 5 pm. The breaks between activities allow for change over time and snacks provided by us. Our camp motto is to "stretch your paradigm". By doing this both individually and as a group, we are able to achieve things we didn't think were possible through simple change of positive mindset.
With the accommodation, catering and social area being under the one roof it makes managing a camp far easier for teachers and leaders.
